STEM LAB Saturday FAQs

Age Requirements
Age requirements have been established to safely facilitate age-appropriate activities.

Attire
Children should dress for comfort and safety; and in clothing that may become stained. Children should wear athletic shoes (no flip-flops). Children are discouraged from wearing jewelry or bringing items of value.

Behavior Management
Because we want this to be a safe and fun environment for learning, we ask children to be attentive to instructors and staff, engage in program activities and respect others’ privacy and safety. Inappropriate behavior by a child will be redirected towards proper behavior by the program instructor. If inappropriate behavior is severe or persists, a parent or guardian will be notified and the child may be asked to leave the program.

Pick Up Times
All attendees must be picked up within five minutes of the end of their session. This allows us time to properly sanitize the area between sessions. We reserve the right to cancel or prevent future participation if a child is picked up late.

Sign In/Sign Out Procedures
For the safety of each child, everyone must be signed in and signed out each day. Drop-off and pick-up will occur in the lower parking lot, to the left of the building when facing it. Parents and guardians may remain in their vehicles.  For pick-up, parents should pull into the parking lot and wait for their child to be brought to the car. Please be prepared to show photo identification to a staff member.

Illness and Injury
If a child becomes ill or injured while attending our program, our staff will contact a parent or guardian to pick him/her up. For the protection of all children and staff, anyone with symptoms of COVID-19 or other infectious diseases, including fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, and loss of taste or smell, or who has tested positive for COVID-19 should not attend. If your camper is injured at camp, our staff will take necessary measures to administer first aid or obtain medical care.
